Chattooga River Information
Gauge Correlation
The graphic below came from the Rabun TU newsletter, and was originally prepared by a consultant to the USFS for the boating regulations evaluation. This information seeks to correlate the gauges at Burrell's Ford and at Highway 76. Traditionally, we don't recommend wading and fishing at levels over 2' at the Highway 76 gauge unless you're an extremely experienced and cautious wader.
