Unicoi Outfitters offers a range of fly fishing related classes, including fly fishing classes, fly tying classes, and entomology workshops. The classes and workshops are held to a minimum number of students so that you receive the instructional attention your skill level requires. Fly fishing is an ongoing learning experience. Come spend a day with us acquiring some basic skills, then consider booking a trip with one of our professional guides to fish Nacoochee Bend and learn the finer details of the sport. Anglers with intermediate skills should definitely consider spending a day fishing with one of our guides.You can learn in one day what might take months or even years to learn on your own. Unicoi Outfitters' fly fishing class provides a well rounded set of basic skills to help you gain confidence in your abilities and experience a sense of accomplishment. Our one-day basic fly fishing class begins at 8:30 AM and continues until 4:30 PM. It introduces you to the sport of fly fishing with virtually all of your class time spent outdoors. Our class requires only one day and costs 1/3 less than most nationally known classes. We present:
Unicoi Outfitters' one day basic fly fishing class is $140.00 per person, all equipment included. We provide lunch and each participant will receive a copy of The Orvis Fly-Fishing Guide. |

After learning the basics, we encourage you to book a trip with one of our guides to put the skills you have learned into practice. A follow-up day with a Unicoi Outfitters' guide can help advance your skills tremendously. |

Basic Fly tying classes are offered every other month for $65.00. Tying classes are limited in size to provide as much one on one instruction as possible. All materials for the class are supplied.
