DECEMBER, 2005 UNICOI NEWSLETTER

As we wind down another year, we just want to take this opportunity to say to all our angling friends, "Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and we hope you all have a wonderful 2006". Without all of you, Unicoi Outfitters wouldn_t even exist and we are extremely grateful for your friendship, support and patronage.

Here are a couple of important things coming up in January that we don_t want you to miss:

ATLANTA FLY FISHING FESTIVAL January 21st & 22nd Gwinnett Civic & Cultural Center http://www.castlow.com

We know! Both events take place the same weekend. Aaarrrgh! Listen, both of these events are worthy of your attendance. You_ll have a great time, meet old and new friends, talk fishing and eat some good food. Get your tired old body up off the couch this weekend and work out the details of being at both functions. Do it like this, attend the Atlanta Fly Fishing Festival on Saturday, drive up to Dillard for the Rendezvous, spend the night in the Clayton area and fish the Chattooga on Sunday. If you were planning a big trip to Yellowstone, you would drive yourself mercilessly for a week like this and we_re only talking about two days. What a great way to get your 2006 trout fishing season off to a good start!

One other note about the Atlanta Fly Fishing Festival. We have just received our Sage Casting Analyzer and plan to have it set up at the AFFF. This may be the most fun you can have without paying for it, and is actually more fun than some things we do pay for. Seriously, we all (and we mean all!) know our casting can be improved. The Sage Casting Analyzer is the first tool to come along that can actually tell you specifically what parts of your cast need work. Plan on visiting our booth at the show and sign up for "analysis".
