Trophy Trout

Unicoi Outfitters offers trophy trout fishing on private streams and a mountain lake in the North East Georgia area. These trophy trout waters are available exclusively through Unicoi Outfitters and provide fly fishers with the opportunity to fish for rainbow and brown trout that are measured in pounds rather than inches.

Please note that all trophy trout waters are restricted to fly fishing only, all fishing must be done with a single barbless hook, and all fish must be released unharmed.

Additionally, a Unicoi Outfitters' guide is required for fishing all trophy trout waters except Nacoochee Bend. On Nacoochee Bend, anglers who have fished with us before may be allowed to fish without a guide. While this decision is made on a case-by case basis, we highly recommend a guide each time you fish Nacoochee Bend to ensure your best chance for a memorable day. Not only are our guides familiar with our trophy waters, but they are accustomed to handling big fish - and you will definitely be fishing over some large trout.
