Unicoi Outfitters prides itself on having the most professional and most capable guide staff of any guide service anywhere. All of our guides have extensive experience on our local waters as well as streams across the country. Our guides have invested years in learning their craft and include some at the highest level of certification by the Fly Fishing Federation, Joan Wulff school graduates, and Orvis guide school graduates. We offer several types of guided fishing trips:

Trophy Trout Fishing - Full and Half-day sessions are available on some of the most productive private trout streams in the southeast at Nacoochee Bend, Frog Hollow, Noontootla Creek Farm and River North.

Drift Boat Trips - expertly-rowed Western-style driftboat trips on the Toccoa River at Blue Ridge, Georgia and on the Tuckaseegee River near Franklin, North Carolina.

Public Water Wade Trips - We are licensed to guide fishing trips on streams in the Chattahoochee, Sumter, and Nantahala National Forests, as well as such non-USFS locations as Smith Creek and Dukes Creek at Smithgall Woods. Depending on the stream fished, we are able to fish for rainbow, brown, and brook trout.
