Helen, Georgia

Our Helen store is a full service fly-shop, specializing in trout and warm-water fly-fishing. We carry a full array of fly rods, reels, and fly lines as well as plenty of tippet, leaders, lines, and terminal tackle to stock up for a day on the water or a cross country trip. The shop also stocks a large selection of waders and boots from Orvis, and Simms  to make certain you are able to select the gear that works best for you. In addition to fly-fishing equipment, we carry a vast supply of fly-tying materials and tools for trout, and warm water fly tying. In Helen we also carry sportswear, technical fishing clothing, and a selection of conventional gear for trout fishing in the North Georgia area.

Clarkesville, Georgia

Our Clarkesville store has a selection of fly fishing tackle including rods, reels, flies, fly lines, leaders, tippet, and terminal tackle. In addition we also carry a wide array of conventional bass tackle catering to anglers fishing the many mountain lakes in our area.  We also carry men’s outdoor clothing from brands such as Orvis, Simms, AFTCO, and Patagonia as well as artwork, home decor, watches, belts, hats, and other accessories.

Unicoi Outfitters is an Orvis endorsed fly fishing outfitter and is the oldest full-service fly shop in North Georgia. We have two stores, one located on the Chattahoochee River at Nacoochee Bend just south of Helen, Georgia where we offer a full range of quality fly fishing tackle, clothing, fly tying materials, and a large selection of flies.  At our new store in Clarkesville, we offer similar fly-fishing products as well as a large selection conventional bass tackle. We are also glad to ship any of our products directly to your doorstep.
