The headwaters of Noontootla Creek is regulated effectively as wild trout water; just downstream from this regulated area is Noontootla Creek Farm. Over two miles of quality trophy trout fishing is available at NCF through Unicoi Outfitters. The Farm also offers excellent quail hunting on portions of its 1500 acres, as well as a challenging sporting clays course.

Unicoi Outfitters has been guiding this section of Noontootla Creek longer than anyone using our professional guide staff, which includes over 20 guides, whom together have over over 500 years of flyfishing experience and 150 years of guiding experience in North Georgia, specializing in private trophy trout waters such as Noontootla Creek Farm, as well as a number of other streams available for booking exclusively through Unicoi Outfitters.

Our guide staff includes five FFF Certified Casting Instructors, including one who is a Certified Master Casting Instructor, and several of our staff have graduated from the Joan Wulff Instructors School and the Orvis Guide program.

Our guide staff has been featured on over 20 national television programs aired on ESPN, The Outdoor Life Network, and the Outdoor Channel. We have hosted both the regional and national finals competitions in Fly Fishing Masters tournaments, including the most recent Masters Finals held at NCF.
At Unicoi Outfitters, we pride ourselves on having only the best guides: if a guide proves to not meet our strict standards, they are simply not allowed to guide for us.
Wild NCF Brown Trout
In addition to the numerous trophy fisheries we represent, Unicoi Outfitters is permitted to guide on streams in the Chattahoochee National Forest, Nantahala National Forest, and Sumter National Forest, and is the only Georgia outfitter permitted to guide on the Chattooga River in Georgia and South Carolina - named to Trout Unlimited's top-100 stream list. We also offer float trips on the Toccoa River in Georgia, and the Tuckaseegee River in North Carolina.
Our two full-service fly shops are ready to supply you with whatever fly-fishing tackle you may need, from the lightest brook trout rods, to heavy saltwater tackle...and our staff has the experience to make the best recommendations.
