Rainbow Point on the Soque
Rainbow Point is located on the Soque River, just a few miles north of the historic town of Clarkesville, Georgia. This section of river offers anglers a chance at rainbow trout and brown trout, with rainbows being the predominate species. This area of the Soque river is larger than the upper half of the river, providing anglers of all skill levels a good experience. The fish here get large, giving anglers a chance at a fish of a lifetime. We offer half trips here, with plenty of room to accommodate up to four angler in a party.
Larry’s Lodge on the Soque
Larry’s Lodge is located on the upper valley of the Soque river near Batesville, Georgia. This section of river is home to both rainbows and brown trout, and you can expect to catch a good mix of both stocked and wild fish. The fish here have vivid colors, are very hard fighters, and get very large.
This section of the river does have smaller casting lanes than other private waters we guide on so we find this section of water best suited for fly anglers with at least a couple of seasons of fly fishing experience. We offer both half day and full day trips here, with enough room to accommodate up to four anglers in a party.
Soque River Camp
Soque Camp is located on the scenic upper section of the Soque river located near Batesville, Georgia. This section of river is home to both rainbows and brown trout. You can expect to find a good number of colorful and hard fighting trout in the 14″-18″ and some fish that go well above 20″.
We offer both half day and full day trips here, with enough room to accommodate up to four anglers in a party.
